Nicki who? Sorry, I'm a Lil Kim fan

It's true. I don't really listen to a whole lot of rap and Lil Kim is one of the few artists I like.
I used to like Nicki but ... now I can't stand her. Her "raps"(if you can even call them that) sound like she's having an epileptic seizure half of the time and her voice sounds like cats being strangled.

I'm not usually one to post stamps about celebrity beefs, but after going through dA and seeing all the bullshit being said without anyone really knowing what they're talking about(mainly about how "old" Kim supposedly is, the copying issue, and why there's even a fight between the two artists in the first place), I have to make some counter arguments(anybody who doesn't listen to rap or pay attention to what's going on in the industry probably wouldn't understand half of this).

1. If you Nicki fans hate this whole beefing thing so much, why the hell are you mad at Kim? YOUR PRECIOUS NICKI AND THE REST OF THOSE YOUNG MONEY BASTARDS ARE THE ONES WHO STARTED THIS WHOLE MESS. You see, Lil Kim originally hooked up with the Young Money crew and was going to be having some sort of joint venture type thing with them. Then a few months later, Nicki came into the picture and they basically never got back to Kim. Kim already tried embracing Nicki and tried to make friends with her. It didn't work. Baby and Slim played Kim with broken promises and killing "Grinding Making Money". And Nicki continued dissing her on every single feature. And naturally, Kim got pissed. I don't blame her. Damn, she even explained this on several Youtube interviews.

2. Kim is not THAT fucking old. the woman is in her thirties(Which, contrary to what most thirteen-year-old teeny boppers would like to think, is NOT old). And so is Nicki, but I don't hear you giving Minaj shit for being an old bag. Besides, Jay-Z is 41. Do you think people are going to stop buying his music because of his age? Same goes with the other popular artists who have been around for a while.


3. Kim does not have to "thank" Nicki for bringing back female rappers, or for anything else for that matter. Kim was on dancing with the stars and already doing her own thing independently when Nicki was still trying to get noticed.

4. Yes, Nicki IS a Lil Kim copy cat. If you line up every female rapper from 1995 to 2012 only one of them resembles Kim's old style:NICKI. Lil Kim was doing the coloured wigs, alter egos, standout outfits, etc., long before anyone ever knew who Nicki even WAS.

5. Kim is not bitter about Nicki "stealing her spotlight"(Lol, Nicki hasn't stolen shit). Kim has a Grammy, Classic tracks, A Classic 1st album, Countless awards and Platinum Plaques, The highest rated show in BET history and a style that Nicki is copying 16 years later! So again why is she bitter?

6.Nicki did not only jack Kim's style, but dissed her in the process! Kim just simply stated that Nicki needs to show some Goddamned respect. You don't see Jay-Z dissing Biggie after he swipes all his catch phrases and lines, do you? No, he gives him his props and pays respect. And Nicki never did that. Just stole her whole style from the fake tits to the Barbie look and said fuck you. Why, exactly, is that acceptable?

7. Isn't it funny how Nicki and her stupid ass fans don't ever say shit about Ray J and Drake? You know, seeing as they're the one's who sparked this.
Nicki got noticed and got a big head and Drake added fuel to the fire by jumping in. Kim was on tour a couple spring/summers ago and didn't say a word about Nicki until the "Hello, Good Morning" diss.

8. Kim has explained time and time again why she and Nicki are beefing, you know, the part Nicki always leaves out. Notice how Nicki has never, not even ONCE spoke about what went down with "Grinding Making Money" or why she never acknowledges why she started dissing Kim in the first place.

9. Kim is far from "done" with her career. As long as she's making music and packing out clubs and venues she can do what the fuck she wants. Obviously she's NOT done yet because people are still paying to see her(I sure as hell would).


10. Nicki and her dipshit fans need to show some Goddamned respect. Lil Kim became successful during a time when female rappers weren't taken seriously in the industry(actually, I don't think there were any female rappers at all before her). If Kim didn't become as famous as she did, your precious Minaj might not even BE here.

11. In closing, Nicki is a perfect example case of a girl who got a little taste of the spotlight and got a big head. She wasn't cutting it way back in 2003 when she was trying to get famous through Gucci Mane and Fendi. It took Wayne Co-Signing her and losing her style and stealing Kim's to even get noticed. If it wasn't for that she'd still be rocking Ed Hardy and doing those low budget Come up DVD's.

TL;DR: Nicki Minaj sucks ass. She's a "swagger jacker" and has obviously never heard of the word "respect". Lil Kim(AKA the Queen bee) is not that old and is not done with her career. Nicki will NEVER be better than Kim. End of story.
